Qualifications

Mr. Kevin Wakwaya joined Rachier & Amollo LLP in 2014 as an associate after successfully completing his bar exams. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, holding an LLB from Moi University and a postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He earned an LL.M from the University of Nairobi in 2023 and is a Certified Professional Mediator (CPM) trained by MTI (East) Africa.

Additionally, he is a Certified Secretary (CS), certified by the Institute of Certified Secretaries, and authorised to offer secretarial services in accordance with the Institute’s rules and regulations.

Experience

At the firm, Mr. Wakwaya is a Partner specializing in the General Commercial Tax and Civil Litigation Department. His expertise includes Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), such as arbitration and mediation, as well as Environment and Land Disputes, Employment and Labour disputes resolution, Oil and Gas Law, Constitutional Law, and Commercial Law with a focus on Company Law, Tax Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Public Interest Litigation. He also leads Legal & Regulatory Audits and consultancy services, overseeing audit teams that provide exceptional service to Blue-Chip companies, Telcos, Media companies, and Parastatals.
